While planning trip to Andaman there may be many questions in mind like
How much does it cost for a trip to Andaman?
What is the best time to visit Andaman?
How many days are enough for Andaman?
There will be answers to all your queries in this blog.
Planning a trip to Andaman & Nicobar Island can be a wonderful and mesmerizing idea. Once you visit this island you will feel that you have seen all the seashores, greenery and beaches of all the places in the world. Plan for 4 days and 5 nights and more if you have enough time and budget. I have personally visited this wonderful place and would like to share my personal experience.
We were 8 persons who visited this island for 4 days and 5 nights. Average expense per person would be estimated to Rs. 25000/- including air tickets, hotels, foods, makruzz & ferry fare and scuba diving. You can call a local travel company for travel package and take details over mail. Their travel brochure can give you idea about the main places to visit. But you can do all your bookings by your own.
Best time to visit Andaman Island is the month of March because of good weather. Book your flight tickets to Port Blair minimum 2 months before your travel day in early morning flights. You can book hotels with full or partial payments through Makemytrip or Oyo. After reaching at Port Blair airport, book taxi from airport office itself, then speak to taxi driver to hire his taxi for rest of your travel for pick and drop. They provide cabs on very reasonable charges. People there are very cooperative and honest.
Best places to see and mediums of travels with stay timings are as below:
1) Cellular Jail, light and sound show in the evening, a round around the Port Blair city to see Carbyn's Cove beach.
2) Subhash Chandra Dweep (earlier Ross Island) via speed boats from Port Blair. There you can speed boat journey, deer, coconut trees and clean beach (2 hours).
3) Subhash Chandra Dweep to North Bay Island - good for Scuba Diving having corals and some other activities. (3 hours)
4) Havelock island via Makruzz. Don't plan for Govt. ferry if you are going on a trip for fun and to relax. Spend one night there at Havelock. Visit the 7th most beautiful and clean beach Radha Nagar Beach to enjoy among the high and overwhelming waves. (4-5 hours)
5) Visit Kala Pathar beach next day which is awesome for photography. (2-3 Hours)
There are so many beaches, so visiting other places here will be like repetition of the places you earlier visited. If you specially desirous to see other places like museum, local market etc. that can be your own choice. It's a awesome place to create memories and keep them with you forever. I highly recommend to plan a tour to this wonderful island with family.
